ok if you rev the engine up slowly theres no leak, but as soon as u nail the pedal hard for a second you hear it. and when i hear the leak i feel air come out of my dumptube. its really freaking weird. does this mean there might be a crack in my dumptube? any help would be apreciated.

bro i know what a WG opening sounds like. it just started sounding like this the other day. could it be that the dump tube has a crack in it?

 

I'm not sure exactly what you're describing, are you feeling exhaust coming from the side of the tube, or from the end of the dumptube (assuming you have an open dump tube)?

 

from the end of the dump tube but it sounds loud as hell like its leaking from somewhere. im gonna have to pull the dump tube out n check for cracks. it just started making this noise a few days ago.

 

If you ran an open dump tube, why does it matter if its leaking. Either way its going to dump gas into the air.

I think the reason when you rev the engine slowing and there is nothing, is because there is still vaccum holding the WG close. When you push on it hard the engine goes into 0 vaccum, so your WG will open up. But your spring should hold it close. HEre are some question, do you have a spring in, how much psi is the spring rated, and have you try checking the WG itself and see if the WG is on the manifold tight.

 

the WG has a 3 lb spring and yes the WG is on the manifold tight. but why would it start making this noise recently

 

did you use the stock tial gasket they sent you. I heard they are really bad. If i were you i would check on that, I would bet thats, causing the leak.
