Good luck! I'm doing the same thing just little by little..My next couple of upgrades are, Sending the P72 head i just bought off a friend to get ported and polished and milled .020...Hopefully that gets me over 11:1, and a larger throttle body 67-64mm and hondata...

After looking at a GSR dyno tuned with hondata that made about 15 less whp then I do, but had 20 more whp @ 5,000rpms then my car..All with similar mods sold me on hondata..

I can't afford the down time at this time of the year so i can't do a piston upgrade..But I would love to do an 84.5mm piston upgrade to get extra displacement...

the JDM CTR pistons will give you a better C/R right around 12:1

How much do you have to work with? I would go with either JDM ITR pistons or even some b16a pistons. Would also be good to go with some cams to match. Depends how much you're willing to spend and what your goals on your setup are.

im not all that rich so im goin with a mild build up. Also with the CTR pistons my CR would be really high, is that safe for daily driving? 12;1 is really high

I used ITR (US spec) in my GSR, and noticed quite a bit of difference.

Recommended:

ARP rod bolts
deck head
Valvetrain upgrade
Cams
Port the GSR maifold and get new butterfly plates made up (cheap)
Good header (Even the modded Edelbrock will work well)
Hondata (or a minimum of VAFC)

Keep the GSR head for the smaller chambers!

They should be fine. The weak link is the rod bolts, but the ARP's take care of that!

Think about the JDM ITR's if you want more compression, or the USDM's if you want more "room for error". (Bad tank of gas on a road trip.)

CTR or JDM ITR pistons

What head gasket should i get? stock?

probably ITR cams, and valve train
AEBS Intake Manifold with plastic Hondata gasket
intake
JDM 4-1 header
exuast of some sorts
cluth and flywheel

Stock headgasket with JDM ITR's will be your best bet.
Check out a bit more serious of a cam setup though.
