Default Apexi springs (not coilover) from a DC2 can fit on an EG?? help please..

hey guys..

I was curious if anyone knows any info about this..

Theres these Apexi lowering springs on ebay with I think stock DC2 shocks from a JDM DC2..but i'm not sure if they're from a Type R or not..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...42803

I'm just curious if they'd fit my 92 hatch vx....it comes with the rear LCAs that look like Type R ones..and it comes with rear trailing arms..but my buddie wants those for his EK..

Would these springs/struts fit on my EG?
Would I have to use those LCAs? or can I use the EG Megan Racing ones that I just bought?
Would the spring rate be hugely different that it wouldnt be good on my hatch? (I already have eibach prokits/KYB GR2s..but want a sportier/bit lower drop..)

if anyone has any info/experience with this...please let me know!!! thanks guys@!!!

aight..well, I'm pretty sure they fit too..I'm just curious about these things..

-Do those look like they're from a Type R (notice the rear LCAs)?
-if so, will they have to be fitted with those LCAs that it came with?

-Since they are from an Integra, and I have an EG, will the spring rates be dramatically different that the ride will not benifit for my chassis? (I have a VX..so around 2094 lbs, and I have a stock vx motor, so a smaller/lighter weight than a DC.?

thats about all I really want to know..like I said in my post, I already have prokits on my car, but would like to have a little bit of a stiffer/lower ride..so I took the chance and bought those Apexi springs..thanks guys.

the ITR and the EG have interchangable parts. thats what i love about the ITR. with that said, im pretty sure that it would bolt right up to your car.

cool cool..i still hope that they're from a regular integra, so that I will be able to use my EG megan racing rear LCAs instead of the type R rear LCAs.

but now that I'm pretty sure that I will be able to fit those springs/struts on (regardless of which LCAs I use), will my EG actually benifit from these springs? - meaning, will it be OK that the spring rates are probably different (ride, ride height, etc...)?

I'd want something that would lower my car a bit more than what my prokits are..

thanks, later.

no they don't the rear itr lca's look different. regardless, if they are indeed itr rear shocks, simply change out your meagan lca's and sell the itr's ones to your friend. regardless, that was a good find.

thanks vtecb20coup for the reply...but I dont really understand what you just said...

if the shocks are from an integra type R, i shouldnt be able to use my megan racing LCAs made for an EG since the EG rear LCA and the type R rear LCA are different...

am I right? So if they're Type R springs/shocks, I'd have to use the Type R rear LCAs (thats if type R rear LCAs bolt up to my civic chassis) in order to use the springs/shocks...?

this is kinda getting confusing now ..so many different explanations..meow
