Default OT: cool car at recent HPDE

There were a lot of cool cars at the HPDE I went to recently (Moroso Motorsports Park, March 6). I managed to get a few photos of one of the coolest. Enjoy.

And just for fun, here's PrescientR getting the finger from a Viper driver:

I'm pretty sure that's a Jaguar, right? What is it?

That thing ain't cheap.

Last time I saw one of those was on Victory By Design.

Awesome to see the owner using it.

Probably a Jaguar XJ-13 replica since there was only one XJ-13 made in the whole world and I don't remember it being in the US. I'll double check the Victory by Desgin Jaguar DVD tonight....

Still cool though!

Indeed, there was only one ever made and it belongs to the Jaguar Heritage Collection (in the UK).

I think it'd pretty much have to be a replica, though a very faithful one from what I could tell. The guy also had what he claimed to be the only Porsche 907 left in existence, but he'd already loaded it back on the trailer by the time I got my camera.

Both cars went out on track for a session each, and I got the honor of giving each of them a point-by.

woo! I did enjoy passing that Viper several times.

There were a multitude of badass cars there, I especially like the Challenge F360 and the cute chic driving the Mini Cooper S
