Just a short note of introduction to let those of you who race that we are now supporting the site with banner ads. Swift-Speed is part of the F.A.S.T group; a partnership of 2 of the larges road race tire dealers in the West and Midwest. Swift-Speed is the small unit that is dedicated to the internet forums which are really the voice of the people in road race, track days and autocross.

We have been in the road racing business for over 20 years, supporting the CenDiv region of the SCCA with trackside service of Hoosier, Goodyear, Avon, Toyo and Yokohama race tires. Our owner has worked with the factory BMW PTG team for over over 10 years as the lead tire tech for Yokohama. He has worked directly for Hans Stuck, Bill Auberlein, Boris Said, Gionperio Moretti (MOMO Owner) and many other well know drivers.

In the course of our travels, we have sold tires to many racers who are now pretty famous in racing. Jaque Lazier, Steve Knapp (3rd at in Indy in 96), Greg Moore, Randy Pobst, Mike Shank (owner of the Factory Toyota Grand Am DPT) P.D. Cunningham, etc... I only use these names to show that we are not some fly by night internet wanna-be race company. We are the real deal.

We offer full tire service for those that race or live in the Chicago area. We are one of the few places that can expertly shave your tires to race depth. We are a supplier of TDR race wheels as well.

One of the newest products we offer is not tire related, but still race related. The CG-Lock is a new product that will help keep you in the seat while at Autocross events or track days. If you want the solid feel of a 5 point belt, but not the hassle, then the CG-Lock is for you. Check my post in the Sponsor section. Misc is where it should fit. A real must have for Autocross guys who want concentrate on driving and not holding yourself up in the seat during a run.

I think this you may be here as the result of a conversation I had with someone at frisbytire when I purchased my rains (Full Tread RA1's) about 3 weeks ago. Bravo!
