been upgrading my eg lately!!
Ive been preparing for the course, It will be done soon, its getting finished being painted this week! more goodies to come, ill post when im finished or you see the car debut in daytona next week if any1 is going!

no actually a guy here in my town in FL builds custom roll cages for auto cross or drag which ever u perfer, he usually builds firebirds and **** like that, but he wants to get into imports. this is built for autocross, not drag. sorry, 1.5 scca boy

just curious but how come there is no structual \ brace on the hoop behind the seats.
other then the lack of that bar, the cage looks exelent

u dont need that unless ur hooking the belts to the harness bar, mine are going over the bar and into the floor. thats what takata calls for. and acutally there is a bar u just didnt look at all the pics!

I want to build my own rollbar.
Do you know what type / size tubing is needed for a safe roll bar?
Want to make one similair to a autopower.
Your car looks like its got a long way to go - but its def on the right track!

you need a 1.5 bar for anything over 1900lbs, anything under that and the bar has to be bigger,

Just wondering- Does SCCA allow the rearward braces to be bent? Just wondering, cause the NASA HC specs are for straight rearward braces only...
