Need Help Building a Turbo????
I own a '98 Prelude Type SH. I need help building a Turbo Kit. Its a street car and show car and I am looking for atleast 300hp max. I don't need crazy horsepower and I am not looking to take down a drag strip. I just need a clean show worthy kit.
Most importantly it will be tuned my AEM EMS!!!!
I need help answering the following questions below....
--What kind of exhaust manifold?
--What kind of downpipe?
--What size wastegate and brand?
--What is the best trim size for a T3/T4 combination and brand?
--What is the safe amount of boost need to run with this setup?
--What size injectors?
Please help me out with your knowledge with suggestions and if any information you need to tell me that will be useful. Thank you

Why not just buy a full kit. like a rev-hard or a turbonetics.

By doing so you can take advantage of someone else do the most important thing, which is r&d.
Or If you want to piece it together. I would start with a fullrace manifold and downpipe. Also check with Tinker219 in the forced induction site of H-T. http://www.lovefab.com/
You can also use the SEARCH function in the Archived contents.

ya i always recommend piecing it together...but from the sound of the post you'd probley be better off w/a kit. check into f-max...dont get the fuel crap, max-rev or rev hard....stay away from drag

this guy is a n00b to turboing, so he needs to get a kit, however, i dont agree with the you entire on kits, i think that for the money, DRAG makes a good bolt on street kit. with good tuning, i think 300hp is possible on a stock motor
where r u located???

I am located here in Chicago.....Suprisingly I thought I would hear differently about building a turbo kit with EMS System.
So, the best turbo kit is F-MAX? If so, explain the whole deal with the injectors that they provide.
I would love to hear more opinions on what route I should go to build my turbo kit...please advise....
thanks,
Syed

the reason i dont like drag is because i have a gen 4 mani...its has the worst creeping problem ive ever seen...i only recommened the other kits cause i heard good stuff in the fi forum when they were selling them.
