Default B16 with B17

OK. This topic is weird. I have a b17 crank and rods. I have a b16 bottom end. I know i can use the crank and rods in the b16 but are the rod and main bearings the same? Im going to build a stroker b16 instead of LSVTEC. Im trying to get like 1.9L with 84mm pistons and darton sleeves. It would be more reliable than LSVTEC.(Unless I spent a gazillion dollars at the machine shop for a balanced GSR crank but whatever) I just need to know if anyone out there has an idea and facts.

Remember that a B17 IS a stroker B16. They both use PR3 blocks so the main bearings will be the same. Look into Benson sleeves rather than Darton. I think you'll like the results, and especially the price difference.

ALL B SERIES MAIN barings are the same and there are 2 type of rod bearings
there are the ls/b20/b16 rod bearings and thereis the b18c rod bearings
