take it to a mechanic that knows his electrical systems.
somewhere in the wiring for whatever the headlight switch controls (many things), there is a wire that has broken out of the insulation and touched something grounded (frame, bolt etc)
odds are this is the problem, the only way to start testing is with a multimeter. this is a multimeter

its used to test electrical things, everything form wires to zener diodes.

Definately invest in a multimeter and learn how to use it if you are planning to do ANYTHING wiring or electrical related. I know that mulitmeter has saved me 1000s of times troubleshooting.

I got mine for free. My dad works for Johnson Controls and they were getting rid of a bunch of old ones. The screen is kinda shitty, and the meter is a little beat up, but can't beat a free multimeter that still works!
Yes, this is true, i Just noticed today that my parking lights dont work at all.... So I dont know what I can do? SHould i just get new bulbs and see if that works? or what????
It's not a bulb issue so don't waste your money. Although you probably do need new bulbs now. You've been given plenty of help, but you don't seem to want it. Take it to a mechanic that knows his electrical because you obviously don't.
And I will admit I dont know electrical that well, but I can't find the shortage anywhere. Everything seems to be insulated fine and no open wires... so Im not really sure??? That's all, I will probably take it to a mechanic this Monday, if I cant figure it out over the weekend...
ye i have the exact same problem, the same exact fuse keeps blowing on me and all my lights go out, its very irritating but what you could do is take the bulbs out and see if the housings are all good, maybe they are touching each other, or the melted, or they dirty or something. Also bulbs in the dash. I have to do that when i get off work. Thanks
