Alright..awile back i had my clutch put in, after it was put in. THe blinkers works for about an hour and then went out, the check engine light went on. THe speedometer died right when i got my car back from the shop. The speedometer and odometer both don't work. The reason why i didn't take my car back to the shop and fuss with them is because they are my dad's friends with the shop ownder and charged me only $250 to do it ( i provided the clutch and paid $30 to resurface the fly ). But labor was only $250. And how asian parents are.....they don't like to loose face...by telling there friends this happened to my car....as if they are telling them that don't know how to do mechanics. So basically now i don't know what to do...i checked all the fuses too and i reset the ECU. Can somebody guide me in the right direction?

something is definitly missing for all those things to go wrong right after u put in a set of clutch...if i were u especially with those kinds of parents, i'd take it to the dealership and let them know what happen...u will get raped though but i promise it will be fix no matter what it is...u get for what u pay for

 

check ur blinker fluid, u might be low.. Ebay's got a box (12 quarts) of pure jdm blinker fluid for bout 49.95 plus shipping.. Def cant get these at pepboys or autozone

 

similar thing happened to me when my speed sensor failed on the automatic transmission of my '90 Accord. I don't know if your manual tranny has a speed sensor, but....
