This past weekend I installed hood pins on my CF hood. Anyway, I was hoping the hood pins may have been able to "pull" the sides of the hood lower to be flush with the fenders. However, they are still about 1/4 inch too high. Is there anyway to get the sides down? I at least know that the hood should stay on the car, but the fitment is rather poor.

 

what kind is it so i don't buy that kind?

carbon fiber isn't like metal, can't bend it to make it fit

See if you can lower your hoodpins a little more. My hood you have to push down slightly to latch the pin, but it keeps the sides of the hood snug

 

I've tried that, but it doesn't help much.

 

I've heard of people "Elongating" the mount holes on the hood latch to move it down further. Maybe that would help you?
