ok ive hear this a thousand times but was wondering whether or not it was actually confirmed by honda or in press releases or whatever that the Del Sol is the third generation CrX or not? Or do people just say that it is because it picked up where the CrX left off? i dunno.. bored and curious haha

I've always heard that US was the only place to get a "Del Sol" everywhere else got the third gen CRX, the reason for this was, it was a simple name change for the USDM because of insurance rates for the CRX were starting to climb and this name change was supposed to fix that. Anyways thats what I heard, could be completely wrong.

Im not to sure about that, because the insurance rates were not as bad in the early 90's as they are now.
