The DC region of the SCCA holds very large events at FedEx field (just off the beltway on the Eastern side of DC). Slots fill up fast, but it's the closest thing to a national level SCCA event you'll find in the area (except the actual national events).
The local BMW, Porsche, and M-B clubs also hold events regularly. Some are open to all marques, others are not. Events tend to be smaller.
Metro Washington Council of Sports Car Clubs has a series as well. WDCR-SCCA is a memeber, as are a few marque clubs. Events are usually well run.
