Default Z10 Road Race/Autocross D16 Aluminum Oil Pan

I have been in contact with Z10 about finally producing a pan for the D series people and need to know what kind of interest there is for such a pan. I am trying to get it built using a factory pick-up to help bring costs down and get it made faster. It would not be like the Moroso pan that is designed more for drag racing. Price is not set, but if interested please IM for the range. I was told that if we could get 20 or so committed people we could get the pan pushed up in the production run instead of waiting until June or July for one to be ready. It would require a 50% deposit to get the ball rolling, but I feel it would be a great pan for those looking for a better solution to a stock baffled pan or a Moroso pan. Please IM or post here if you might be interested

Thanks for the reply, but I checked them before and they do not have a D16Z6 pan.

I think their stuff looks top notch. I am just hoping ot get enough interest for the D series people so we don't have to wait until June or July for a pan.

I just hope they "deck" the pan so you can install it out of the box.

Big time for Moroso. $$$ for a pan that you have to get decked before the blasted thing will even hold a seal.

I have yet to see an aluminum pan for the D series that is as good as the stock aluminum pan from the d16y8. Even the gasket design is superior.

I know how bad the Moroso was, I used it for a week or two on an old engine. I am hoping that Z10 will listen to the D series crowd and make a part that has the quality that their other pans have. Only time will tell now.

I have done my research and that pan does not work with the 92-95 D16Z6.

Why? Please explain. I've used A6 pans on Z6's in the past. What exactly interferes?
