What is the peak hp rpm range for a 94 Ls
I just was wondering when is it right to shift on a ls i always take it to 6800 or 7000 but some peolpe told me i would be faster if i shifted sooner ... when do u think i should shift.... i have alread searched and found nothering ... please help
i don;t really double cluth anymore aanyless i am bored but usually i just shift really fast and normally ... what do u think i should shift at ?

search dyno charts for an ls. see when the powerband cuts off. thats when you should shift....

Anyway, to the original poster. For an LS, I've tried numerous things and found that shifting right at redline is the best. Obviously it's slightly different than the GSR's and we don't have to worry about falling into/out of vtec.
Last time I looked at a dyno, it seemed to be the best. I'll see if I can find one again.

oh alright thanks player ... something happend to my friends gsr... we where raceing and i lauched off him and was like a half a car a head and pulled to a car a head and then he started to slowly get close to me and he was like next to my bump and he put it into 2nd instead of 4th and messed his motor all up ... his grandma is getting him a new enigne now ... it sucked ...

shift at the limiter. even if you're revving out of your powerband, the transmisison isnt close enough geared to shift at the peak horsepower point and drop to the peak torque point. revving higher on the gear before will allow the engine to drop back into its powerband at a higher rpm.
