Default DIY Gear dependent boost controller

I was wondering if anyone had a link or anything on how to do this? I know its been done with boost solenoids or something of that sort, but im curious if anyone has done it themsleves or anything?

I should elaborate what im looking for.

Ive read about a few people having their boost solenoids/boost controllers setup to run like 4-5psi in 1st gear. 8 in second and 13 in 3rd-5th. thats just an example. but they were able to do this by pressing a button located in their car. I forget whether it was on their steering wheel or shifter...either way it doesnt really matter.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to do something like this
