Default need info on JDM & Euro-spec 'Lude motors

I need a 'Lude tranny with LSD for my F22B1, however, I would prefer to have larger gear ratios. As much as I love the Prelude tranny, on my car, I wouldn't be able to run the gears to higher speeds... so I need gear ratios similar to that of my OEM Accord tranny. Yes, I have a manual (5 speed). So what about the JDM & Euro-spec trannies?

I dont really understand why u want longer gears, Ludes can do 140+ with their gearing, how much faster do u want to go? Just get a limited slip differential and plug it into your accord tranny. Accord and Prelude trannies are the same thing, same clutch, same flywheel, just different gear ratios.

I would think that the gear box on the Lude is better geared toward performance driving since the gears on the Lude tranny are shorter.

you're correct, but i don't like the idea of hitting redline in 2nd a 49mph... i need a little more gear since my redline is 1K shy of the H22...

The redline for a lude motor and tranny is 61mph in 2nd. and like 68 with an accord tranny. With an F22 and lude tranny i would think u would redline around 55, the major difference between the 2 trannys is 3rd and 4th, not so much 1st and 2nd
