This is a recording of my rear passenger wheel. I disengae the brake and roll down a hill for about 10 feet or so. Is this a bad bearing?

That **** is hot!!!! I love that bass line and high-hat! I bet it really gets the crowd jumpin'.
Ehh, anyways, I heard the file, but are you noticing anything wierd while driving? It could very well be the wheel bearing, but I'm not sure. Need more info.

Are the rear rotors warped? Sounds like the pads moving in the saddles.

Sounds like the brakes are rubbing is all. Normal. Unless your brakes vibrate/shake when you apply them. Then something is warped.
I've had 3 wheel bearings go on my Accord. 2 changed under warranty, 1 I changed myself - I bought an extra bearing so I can change the last one when it comes due. I'm an expert at wheel bearing noises now. A bad wheel bearing at first sounds like a loud winter tire - an annoying, not overly loud hum. Kinda like the noise you hear through your window of a tractor trailer 2 lanes over on the freeway - but not quite so loud. You are not sure if the sound coming from the wheel area is the normal winter tire noise or a bad bearing noise. The humming sound eventually grows louder but very slowly over time so eventually that annoying truck 2 lanes over is now in the next lane but you didn't notice the truck change lanes. Get my drift. You get used to this loud annoying noise until - click! - you realise this sound is not normal. Something is indeed wrong with your car. Jack up the wheel where the noise is coming from. You may be able to "feel" the bad bearings when you rotate the tire by hand. The wheel will not spin smoothly if you have a bad bearing- you can feel and hear this. Remove the tire if you have to and spin the axle by hand. A contact with steel instead of the rubber wheel help you feel a bad bearing more easily. Compare this feel to another axle. Good bearings do not make a lot of noise. Bad bearings make sort of a ringing scraping sound. Kinda like the high speed scraping sound you hear from the "Imperial Fighter" flown by Darth Vader in Star Wars. Only real quiet. Anyone know this sound?
