Default probs with 82mm pistons in gsr??

well i got my *** outta bed early one mornin to get my pistons ordered. and i guess i had a brain fart. cause i ordered 82mm pistons. which is like .040" over. i was only gonna go with 81.5mm .020" over. its too late to re order. so do u guys think i will have any block problems with this setup?? ive heard of guys cracking blocks and stuff when they get close to this much over bore. im gonna be running about 11.5/1 compression. any info is appreciated.

I've always been under the impression that 82mm is the limit for stock sleeves, but have no 1st hand experience since I went 81.25 on mine.

Read that 82mm is the max for stock sleeves. So you'll be fine. But if you ever need to bore after that, looks like you're gonna need some sleeving as well.

Personally the max I'll go with any stock sleeve is 1mm over, however most of the time we only go 0.25-0.50mm over. The sleeves should hold up just fine at 82mm with 11.50:1 but if possible I would just sell the 82mm slugs and go with some 81.50's. Again, just my $0.02. Good Luck
