Just purchased 95 gsr 4-door, looking to run high 13's to mid 14's daily driver???
All right I just purchased this car and I am really excited to get things going. I don't want to use nitrous, maybe if I'm in the low 15's I'll spray.
As of right now I'm thinking to keep it simple, like the following:
Stock wheels as for right now......
Neuspeed Sport Springs
AEM cai
DC sports 4-2-1 header
GReddy SP ver.2 cat-back exhaust
Vortec Supercharger
What do you guys think!?
Oh, where is the place you guys shop for the best prices??

i have a four door gsr also. I went to the track Sunday for the first time. My first run i ran a 15.1 and i missed third gear twice at the end of the track, then my second run i ran a 14.90. My list of mods are AEM CAI, Apex WS exhaust, Test Pipe, and DC JDM 4-1 headers
.
.
no way, that's awesome. I didn't think you could do so well with just a few mods. Imagine what it'd be like with a vortech or jackson racing supercharger, hmmmm.....................
i know of someone who got into the 12's with a supercharger...i wouldnt recomend a supercharger over turbo though. Most peeps will agree. But im a all-motor person, i think its the most intresting and fun.You could get into the 13's if you made 180 + whp all-motor with your gsr.
Why do you think I should go turbo instead of a supercharger??
All-motor sounds damn sweet to me but that Whishhhhhhhhhhhhh of a turbo is pretty hard to beat too...............
All in all I am so happy to have this car, I love my 98 prelude but it was an auto and heavy = slowwwww, so it's nice to be in a manual that's light?

the only way you can run a 13 with that setup is if you juice your car. keep a low psi though unless you've built on your motor. uhm..yeh. as far as a turbo or a supercharger...i would go with a turbo as well for now. but i don't know how the weather is where you are. if your in a rainy enviorment then i'd stick to the supercharger...k good luck

After owing two turbo cars, I'm quite happy with an all motor setup, I have a feeling that if a lot of people would experience a little more of what some all motor setups are capable of, they'd feel the same way.

I agree with going with a turbo rather than a supercharger, but I don't think that boost or "juice" is necessary. Personally I'd go with the following setup:
JDM ITR tranny
ACT clutch and flywheel
CTR pistons
Skunk2 Stage 2 cams (with associated valvetrain components)
JDM DC 4-1 header
Homemade ITB's
RC 310 cc fuel injectors
Hondata with tuning
About 100 lbs of weight reduction
Anyone should be able to break well into the 13's with this setup, even with a 4 door you should be running mid-13's.

just do what i did to my lsvtec but you can keep the b18c

i am looking for the same but NA and yes that looks like a good set up, and i run about a 14.9 with, cai, v-tec controller, and exhaust
Well I live in central florida, and so it does rain a lot..............
I'd like to do an all-motor setup for sure but just a little scared of the price tag associated with such a setup........
I like the vortech supercharger for the simple fact that it puts out a good amount of power ,supposedly , and all the neccessary tuning parts are included........
Although I like the GReddy turbo kit as well, because of one, the name, it's GReddy and then secondly it comes with all neccessary tuning and not to mention both of them have no cutting or major modifications to perform, at least not that i know of, other than drilling a hole for oil to the turbo.........
I like this setup a lot:

Also could I install
T H I S > http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...10011 instead of buying the whole ITR transmission?
Are these > http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...10002 the right pistons I should get?
Oh, I have no knowledge of is the "homemade ITB"???
I like the sound of the blow off valve and the turbo spooling up to boost! Why because it's intimidating to know that I have a turbo. Although I'd have to agree buying parts for the sound is retarded except when it comes to an exhaust......
peace
