Default H22a Throttle Body vs. B16a Throttle Body.

Well last time I dyno'd my car it put down 161whp 125 ft lb tq.
(b18a/b16a ls/vtec)

That was before GSR cams, got my TurboEdit "Fuel Management", and now tommorow I'm adding an H22a throttle body.

I have no real intake set up, I'm just running open throttle body with a nylon over it until I can afford to relocate my huge as hell optima battery. (BTW I drive a CRX so intake set ups are really hard to cram in there when you've got a B-series)

I believe the b16a1 (which is most likely what I have since it's a JDM b16a1 head) is 58 mm and the H22a is 60mm.... I'm wondering..

1) what all will I need to change? I've heard something about coolant lines, vaccum lines, throttle cable? I'm really in the dark because some people say nothing, some people say lots.

2) Any noticeably power gain here? I'm not asking for much since I'm getting it for a straight trade for my b16a one so it's basically free power (if it does infact make power).

you do realize you are loosing a quite bit of power running with no intake arm. i know that the h22 has the fast idle valve bolted to the bottom of it and you will need two coolant lines for it.

Yeah, I realize the power loss... But you should seriously see this sheeyot!

And that's with the SMALL battery. Thats like 1 inch inbetween the battery and the strut bulge. Once I relocate battery to the rear I'm going to be custom fabbing an intake... Already started a bit. I'll post pics someday.

can you plumb the intake arm down instead of forward?
