ok so i was about to change the oil on my other car(american made) and went to abc auto and they gave me dextron 3. but what the **** i think i put the same brand of oil on my 90 accord ex transmision. ****
will it **** up my trans since i put it a while ago. what kind of oil should i put on my 90 accord automatic trans man. **** this sucks. any website where i can learn the kind of trans oil that i should put on different cars like gm,,,, honda,,,, mitsubishi,,,, toyota. u can never put a stop to knowladge. and i did search and didn't came up with anything

 

'90-'93 Accord Auto trans fluid should be Dexron II.

All the crap laguage makes it hard to read your post, but it sounds like your worried about using the wrong fluid. My suggestion, just get it flushed ASAP with the correct fluid.

As far as manuals, I recommend you order a replacement factory manual for every car you have. There is no better substitute. Try either Ebay or:

Chilton used to have an on-line manual lookup but they took it down.

Dexron III is simply a new and improved version of Dexron II

You can run III in a II application but not II in a III application

The best stuff in the world is GM ATF with friction additive! Yes I said GM. I have a 1992 integra with B18C1 full build with 200whp. I run the GM syncro mesh but the ATF is the same stuff.
