can u put a vtec head on a f22a6 block
i believe so, at least u can swap the f22b1 head (vtec) onto an f22b2 (non vtec)......but theres alota work to be done invloving the oil and the ECU....
i doubt anyone whos done it would recomend it....VERY little HP gains as vtec on SOHC doesnt change the exhaust valve timing (as do the DOHC VTEC) so it doesnt have nearly as big of a kick

exactly....the SOHC vtec only has vtec on the intake side whereas the DOHC has vtec or cam lob or whatever you want to call it on the intake and the exhaust side...thus making it a more powerful motor/head
. For the money just swap out or rebuild+turbo
