You want sidemarkers? You mean like the ones in your rear bumper? Or those stupid ones that people ADD to their car on the fenders?

If you want the ones found on your bumper, any local store should carry them for about $10. If you want those other ones, try the Appearance Forum. They love all the JDM crap.

The one's for the front fenders

I like how they look, and have had too many people not see my blinkers on the freeway and almost smoosh me

3 things:
1.side markers are not ricey or jdm wanabe...they help to make ur car more visible and thus, safter
2.how do the ones sold on that websight wire up (im also assuming u have to cut the fender
3.elaborate on the whole LED thing......

re: LED's...the setup is the same as wiring up a traditional sidemarker...you'll jus' solder & wrap a LED in place. They come in varying sizes/colors...at Radio Shack...whatever

The nice thing is you need only need a tiny hole if you use a tiny LED.

You could also get creative and plumb a row of LED's in a serial...I've also seen LED's mounted in the side-coping plastic material so a drilling isn't visible if you remove the sidemarker/LED later. It also can mount flush if your willing to dremel it.

Well if u get the ones off ebay...they dont come with the wire harness so u have to get one some how and just tap it. I got the JDM ones off ebay and they are universal so it doesnt really matter...Civic, Teg whatever...only thing that makes a world of diff is your taste really.

I'd really like to buy some of these for my accord. But just a few questions since I want to know more before I cut a hole in my car..

Do the lights sit flat to the side of the car? from one of the images, it looks like it might stick out a bit. (as in the under side of the light somewhat hangs away from the body towards the ends).

Also, will the wiring harness get hurt if they are wet?

And will the hole cut in the side of the body rust since there won't be any paint around the inside?

I think what your trying to say in the first Q is will it be flush mount like the one on your rear bumper? No it wont but its not supposed to be.

I dont believe the harness will get "hurt". It's just like your corners and you have to seal it up with some silicone or just make the whole a perfect fit.

As for the paint after you cut the hole and its exposed, put some clear coat on it. Ive also heard that u can just use clear coat from finger nail polish and it will do the trick.
