Actually that civic was already on its way down when I decided to take the picture...It was hiked up many more inches just a few moments earlier.

And Eric was using his Jedi powers so he could take the turn closer without actually hitting the cone....

And for the Cougar picture, I actually took it too early... the guy just barely cleared the cone after swinging the rear out and smoke screening the place.

 

Results are officially in...not running the Azenis probably cost me 1st place (the Mini Cooper S was finally bumped up to the proper class and I was less than .25 seconds behind Jose [who I normally finish just ahead of]). Oh well, one of these days I'll get first in class...

There was a Ford Lightning that ran...but he was just over 2.5 seconds slower than I was. Too much power, not enough experience - nice smoke screens though. I'm still waiting for someone who knows how to drive a Lightning to show up one of these days...
