The engine. The GSR doesnt have the fake wood trim around the shifter.
GSR- B18C1 VTEC 170hp
SE- B18B1 non-vtec 142 hp (94-95) 140hp (96) renamed the GS in 97.

The engine and transmission is the primary difference... almost everything else is the same. Most people dont know this but the SE also has the same size Sway Bars as the GSR
