i searched and came up with a little bit of stuff but i wanted to know .. i'm planning on getting a GSR and i want oem ITR kits on it .. and that means the spoiler also but i don't want the aftermarket ITR spoilers with the break light.. so after taking off spoiler i will be left wih only 2 break lights.. now what to do?

get a 3rd break light maybe off an LS or somthing? and how would i mount it? i heard putting the holes in the glass would cost a shitload of money and if you do decide to take it off.. 2 very ugly holes to plug up.. any one have pics of how they did theirs also?

 

they sell itr spoilers with the led in them, there usually 50 bucks more

 

i just recently took my spoiler off my gsr... try 6 holes to plug up unless u get a spoiler that fits into stock mounts. for now i covered with electric tape since my gsr is black it just barely shows when ur a foot away. later will use sheet metal and bondo b4 repaint of trunk.

 

first off. i dont want a ITR spoiler with the break light.. and 2nd yea i know about plugs and stuff i was woundering about the 3rd BREAK LIGHT within the back windshield.. what do u do about that

 

cant you trade with someone with a ls trunk so it has the break light?

And for those wondering why he doesn't want to run with only 2 brake lights, it's illegal.

 

trade trunks huh? sounds good.. i was kinda thinking double sided tape but that woudl look kinda weird

 

well u could use the tape that they use to keep side skirts on. i highly doubt that it will come off.

talkin about 3rd brake lights.... I took my spoiler off and I've been running my car without it for quite some time now.

 

yea a lot of people run with 2 brake lights and they usually don't get pulled over for it.

yea i know.. i've been over this.. i don't like the spoilers with the 3rd light i think it looks kinda ugly.. i think i'mm just trade hatches with someone.

Yes it's illegal, but whether you get pulled over or not depends on your local law enforcement and how seriously they will take it. I think passwordjdm sells the complete hatch assembly with the ITR spoiler already installed. I'm not sure about prices though.

 

I am not running a spoiler currently.

I would actually like to see some wind tunnel tests of Integras with no, GSR and ITR wings.

I took it on a drive right after I took the wing off and I swear the *** end felt more floaty than normal at high speeds around corners. Honestly it scared the crap out of me lol. Then again I had a stuck right rear caliper and that might have added to my problem of oversteer

my moms old 83' volvo only has two brake lights stock ....and only one sideview mirror stock as well
