I've been wanting to get a bike for a long time now and since my insurance rates have dropped and I've gotten a little older, I can finally afford one. I was looking to get a mid to late 90's gsxr600 or cbr600f3/4 and what I would like to know is what I should be looking for when I go to look at these bikes? Are there any tell-tale signs that the bike was dropped(other than scratches on the plastic of course ) serious engine abuse...stuff like that. I don't mind working on the bike to getter going, I feel that it can only help me learn more about it, I just don't want to spend more money repairing the bike than what it might be worth.
