Difference between 90-91 and 92-93 clutch
What's the difference between 90-91 and 92-93 integra clutch systems? I see different part and kit numbers all over the place, would both kits fit both year ranges?
90-91 has fewer splines on the main shaft, while the 92-93 has more splines. The clutch plate will not interchange between those years. The pressure plate and flywheel will interchange though.
not only is the number of splines different, but the shaft diameter is also different. If I remember correctly the 92+ are larger in diameter.
As was stated by stubbs.... the pressure plate and flywheel are interchanable, but the clutch disk's are not (since thats the part that slides over the shaft on the tranny).
Also, all the 92+ b series clutch disks, pressure plates and flywheels are all interchangable.
