I am in the process of installing my intercooler (GReddy Type24) and I dont want to remove my bumper support, so I need to modify it to fit, and there is a part I need to cut off and I am not sure what it is. When you look in the engine bay to where the bumper support is, attached to it is some sort of cylinder that is about a foot wide and I am wondering if I can cut that off? I am thinking that it might have something to do with the airbags , so help me out If any of you guy have done this before and know what I'm taking about, thanks in advance.

Are you talking about part #14. If so it has nothing to do w/ abs.

 

It doesn't have anything to do with ABS. It is a vibration dampener, it it can be removed. And you don't need to cut it off, it's bolted on.
