damn it I accidently deleted it, I'm going to look at a lude' tomorrow and wanted to know what to look for and if there were any mechanical problems with the 1992. And what engine came stock in the car? I'm not sure if its an S or Si or what. its got a 5 speed new tires, cd changer and 160,000 miles is this gonna last or what. It sounds like a hell of a lot. But it is an older guy who owns it and I think it is well taken care of and not rodded on constantly. Also its a blueish purple he said, can some one post a picture of this factory color? Thanks.

I have a 1992 Si 4WS with 168K miles

I would look for rust, check the exhaust, see if the timing belt and water pump have been changed and if he has any records for it. I would have a mechanic look at it too.

These are items that cost a lot to replace.

If the previous owner too decent care of it (changed the oil every 5-7K miles) the engine should still be good.

Good luck.

It can only be a Prelude S (Accord engine 135hp) or the Si (H23 160hp non vtec)

92 preludes came with the f22 and the h23.... f22- 135 hp h23- 160 hp.

If its the h23 go for it if it looks nice.... if its the f22 try and get it for a REAL cheap price, and then swap in an h22!
