Optima doesn't make a battery that fits the Integra/Civic, etc.... Unless you want to mount it someplace else. Besides they are way too much money.
I installed a redtop in my old CRX SiR and I currently use one in my DC2 teg. The Yellow tops are deep cycle so they can be fully discharge many times without any problems. In order to put the Optima in my old CRX I had to make a mount plate and retainer. For my DC2 teg I had to trim the excess plastic from the bottom of the battery.
That big red thing is an Optima Redtop...

Wrong. Optima does make a smaller sized battery strictly for the Civic and Integras that have small batteries to begin with.
Too much money ? That's your opinion.
Now, for some facts. Maybe you should visit http://www.optimabatteries.com and do some reading. Generally the Red Top batteries are meant to replace your vehicles regualr battery. They are meant to withstand start ups and such. Teh Yellow top is geared more toward car audio, hydraulics, and other aftermarket lights/sounds etc. However, you can still use a Yellow top to start you car everyday. It will still get the job done.

i was just on that site for optimabatteries and it said theres 2 types of yellow tops, one in a dark gray case and another in a light gray. one was for normal starts and one was for deep cycle.. i think..
so the one i'd be looking for is deep cycle right? for when the subs hit, it can discharge the battery and the cap and then the batterie can get back up to amperage?

Sorry but it fit in my car with AC. After I ditched my AC I had to find a better way to secure the battery since it began to wiggle like greased piggy on "PORK CHOP" night.
