Default EG downpipe from header fit a ek hatch D16

Does any one know if the single piping (downpipe) from an eg hatch that comes right after the header will fit on a ek hatch with a d16.

So it's a direct fit. A flip flop swap.

Actually I dont think so. The EG DX's have a 4 primary into single downpipe design, whereas the EK DX's have a 4 primary into cat into single downpipe design. Both the EG and EK EX manifolds are a 4 primary into dual downpipe manifold design... Since you said single downpipe I don't think it will work. Check the manifold that you are going to be installing the downpipe on and see if it has the cat integrated into it.

Yup I got the cat on my header. But the ex header will have a longer header since there will be no cat there. Mines have a cat so it's quite shorter.

The EX is not a single downpipe design though...

Okay...I don't get what you're trying to accomplish. You're trying to fit an EG single downpipe onto a header that is a completely different design and has the cat integrated into it?
