i think i need a nwew fuel pump i will drive my car for like 2 day and then it will die and wont sart for like 5 minutes and it does this until it sits for like 5 hours then it is fine again what could this be just changed plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor and fuel filter what else could it be

Do a search on 'main relay'.

If your relay is okay, check to see if you are losing spark (when it won't start).
If you're losing spark, your igniter is probably on its way out.

These aren't the only possibilities, just the most common.

 

bad relays are REALLY common, but usually only in really warm weather......to add to what has already been said, you can always listen to check if the pump is coming on when the key is in the on position.....or pull a line and see if it's pumping gas......

 

Also, when was the last time you changed your fuel filter? If its clogged, it will ast like a bad fuel pump.

I agree with the last poster. Go through the basics. Air, fuel, spark.
