Broke off a a nut/part of bolt holding fuel rail down, please help!
What can I do now? I was tightening the last nut (one of three) that actually holds the fuel rail down and it broke clean off.... What can I do now? I looked at my dealership service manual and it looks like it might be possible to just replace the stud, but it would be real hard... Do I have to replace the entire intake manifold, or do you think that if I take the intake manifold off I wil be able to replace the stud? Thanks for your help, as I am really pissed off at myself for doing this and want my baby back now
i take it you got your injectors. you can replace the stud. it is easy to do. you just need a stud extractor or a pair of vice grips. when installing the stud all you need is to tighten it snug.
Yea, thanks a bunch, they came REAL quick
. That makes my day knowing that it is replaceable. So I assume I can extract the stud while everything is still intact.
BTW do I really need both the plastic and rubber gaskets?
Thanks a nuch for your help, and the injectors- I can vouch for you anytime

yes the plastic pieces are shims for the prelude manifold only. definatly need them. be sure to pull the old ones out first though.
