im so sorry to post this here,but im a little bit confused about my brake system.

days before i disconnected my battery to refill/recharge it,after reconnecting it,the folowing happens

1)*BRAKE* vanishes after pushing the brake
2)*BRAKE* & *PARK* comming up right agian?
3)after another 2 Seconds *ABS* comes up....?

maybe this happend without regarding the battery charge..but no one knows whats up with it?

i neither know if its is a front or a rear problem ,but i had before front fading when decreasing from higher speed...

any1?

 

isnt there anyone who had same lights comming up in his prelude?
the same lights are in bb1 to bb9
asking honda hasnt had much effect,they want my to let my car there,but it wasnt in garage for 8 years,maybe for all its life,only for changing the 2 toothbelts (isnt right written,sorry im german)

 

Check your back brake bulbs...I have seen some problems with these.

 

u rright i heard this too,but they are all fine and new,contacts are even cleaned,
its very mystic because of reconnecting the battery....or hasnt this to do with it?

 

What do you mean by the *park* coming on? Is it an auto? Also, its the *brake* light thats coming on not the *brake lamp* light. Is that right? I would check the parking brake switch. The abs light will come on and the system disable if the parking brake switch is engaged.

 

i ment *parkingbrake* lamp...

its sounds funny but the whole thing was a broken brake bulb witch sometimes works fine ....
i ever thought when the brake lamp was broken only the *BRAKE* light would show up,but im wrong,
u get 3 warn lamps for 1 broken tail lamp....*ggrrrrr*
sometimes i wish honda wouldnt make such damn failures in car electronics...
