are you talkin about the idle control valve??because those motors used a different kind of valve.i dont think it will ever work unless you get a adapter plate to use the prelude,ls,or civic one,and get another tb.
he understands that you need an idle adjust screw. but what aelous is saying is that the iac valve has a different plug than the one on your harness. an itr throttlebody is supposed to bolt right up from what i have heard. i used the stock 94 h22a t-body. i had to modify it though. read: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=740328
itr throttle body works just fine.
If you are too cheap to buy one, u can do what we did and **** with the set screw to keep the throttle body always open then readjust your TPS sensor as a short term solution untill a ITR throttle body was located.
They are the exact same thing, just one has an idle screw
my question is how did u set up your aicv?

I wouldnt skimp on money in this project, buy a throttle body, whether it be an ITR or Erick's Racing or something. Get an IACV that is 2-wire and be done. I bought the install kit from SE93 to make relocating the iacv a breeze. The vacuum on my motor was so harsh with the 3 wire iacv that it was sucking my top radiator hose closed.
