what size of exhaust pipe to use? 2.5 inch or 2.25?

Default what size of exhaust pipe to use? 2.5 inch or 2.25?

Which is better? Im going to do my own exhaust piping and get it bend at a place that does mandrel bending.

Also magna flow too big for the stock d15?

Magna flow comes in different sizes. I would go with a 2.25 for a stock or lightly modded N/A 4cylinder

i agree i'm running 2.25 on a slightly modded engine (bolt ons) and it seems good enough. but if your running some cams and what not i think you should go with 2.5

go with 2.5 for major mods.

sorry to jack ur thread, but i just wanted to know... for a 99SI, if everything was 2 1/4" size. I have a DC header 4-2-1, and DC exhaust, will i have to use the 2.25" CATCO cat as well?
