got egr valve code, replaced new one but still throwing code.

went to smog check station and the smog computer found egr valve not working. so i replaced another one and the code still on after half an hour of driving. Anyone has any idea what's going on with this problem?

Reset your ECU and see if it throws the code again.

I already reset ecu and still getting the code. help, help, help.

is the code a 401 or a 1491. if you are not usinging a scan tool how many blinks.

yes, smog technician did used scan tool that plug into obd2 connector.
