can I go ahead and used honda MT fluid in a JDM h22a LSD tranny or do I need some type of special fluid? or should I go ahead with penzoil/GM syncromesh?

 

honda MTF is fine.

because he has a 2 way kaaz, which is a clutch type lsd.

He just happens to have the kaaz because that's what came in the swap when he got it.

 

Honda MTF would probably be a good choice.

He posted tranny fluid for an entriely different application, that's retarded How is that going to help anybody? BTW when I had my Kaaz I used the Kaaz fluid

Hmmm... the older (93-95) JDM LSD h22's are Gear type? I thought they were Clutch because I was spinning only one wheel at the race track (Clutch wearing out)

you running slicks? its still oem, not racing. my jdm lsd spins both, w/bf drags 1st and 2nd(although the back starts to drag in second)

ya i was thinking the same thing...my 3rd doesnt like speed shifting...and i changed my tranny fluid twice in 10k...honda mtf

 

Do you guys recomend Synthetic or just stick to Honda OEM? When I had my non-LSD B16 I was using BG synchro shift. The **** was great. But now I have a 94 JDM H22-LSD, should I use synthetic w/ this motor or H-oem? THANKS!!

Well if the tranny is shifting smoothly, then use Honda MTF, or if it ginds then switch to GM syncromesh. Good luck.

 

im runnin syncromesh in mine with a quafie lsd

 

I run the synchromesh friction modified in my m2b4 tranny.Works great.

 

syncromesh and a little motor oil (didnt have enought ) with my quaife lsd.....
