Default Where to pick up a cone filter?

I need to pick up a new cone filter to replace the one that came with my greddy turbo kit. Most of the ones that I see have a 3" inlet, but my IC piping is only 2.25". Just wondering if you guys knew of any sites. Thanks,

Pfieff

I got a K&N on my Greddy kit. The part no. from K&N is RU-3560. That's pretty damn close to how big the Greddy filter is.

Get a K&N, but you may have to special order. Different intake tubes are different sizes. You can also get longer or shorter cones. Go to any non-corporate parts store and tell them what you need. Make sure you know what size your pipe is.

I ALREADY TOLD HIM THE PART NO HE NEEDS!!! That is almost the EXACT same size as the Greddy cone that comes with the kit. If he does'nt believe me, he can go to the website, measure his own filter, and size it up. Trust me, I looked quite a few times before I bought mine.

I wasn't saying you're wrong, Ricey. I was basically just saying he better make sure he has the absolute right size. i.e. my intake tube is 2 5/8". Not too far off from 2.5, but far enough that a cone with a 2.5 inch hole won't fit. That's all. Cheer up, buddy

I hear you, I was just saying, he's asking about the oddly sized intake piping on the Greddy kit, and I already did the homework for him on this one.

Most of the time you have to special order the filters no matter what ? I needed a k&n filter for my aem, I thought i had lost it , asked pepboys they where expensive plus had to wait a think it was 2-3 weeks for it .(thats what the guy said at the counter) i called aem looking for the cone they wanted 75 + forget ...i said noway then i looked at the website i provided............ i got to choose any filter imagenable (<- spell check) and i got my filter in less then 5 bus. days . Then when i moved to Hawaii i was packing and guess what i find ...the filter brand new still in the plastic wrapping
