differance between LSD trans and non LSD trans

i was just wondering how you can tell between a transmission with LSD or without buy just looking into the axles holes? because i have a h22 from japan and i just wanted to know if it was a LSD or not. thanx

so are u saying that theirs no shaft that goes through the hole?

sorry for explanation, if you dont see the shaft in the middle= lsd

Bass ackwards.... If you see a round hole all the way through the other side its a LSD tranny, if you see a round shaft through the middle its the shaft the spider gears ride on. adn its an open differential.
