i'm lowered about 2 inches on B+G full coilovers. i've gotten an alignment for my poor negative camber, but the top of the wheel still remains tilted in.

the treadwear is fairly bad, and i get a lot of road noise. i tried the "washer trick" and even put in 5 washers between the rear upper control arm bolt and the well wall.

it really did nothing. so i'm wondering about whether or not i should just go buy a rear camber kit, because i cant afford to have sets of tires wear unevenly like this.

i was hoping the washer trick would work, but it didn't and i need some tips on what to do. thanks.

You do know the alignment shop cannot adjust camber without you having a kit, right? I have never seen the washer trick not work for anyone. Have you checked for bent suspension pieces?

 

i didn't know that. maybe that's why the shop guys said they couldnt do it any more thanks for the info, i'll check for bent pieces.

 

What is your toe set at?

 

I suspect that your toe is off and that's what causes the uneven tire wear.
