Default how do i prevent my exaust pipe from ruining my new rear lip?

i just got my erebuni lip kit, (oem replica) and i think the rear lip is going to be a real tight fit with my custom exaust pipe, is there anything i can do so that the lip doesnt get damaged by the heat or get dirty

dude, I have a rear kit with spots for dual exhausts; and my muffler tip touched my kit. If you leave it touching your kit it will melt that bad boy quick as f*@ck. So either cut the tip of your muffler off, or relocate the muffler a little lower then the kit. Cut that mess by hand and weld it yourself if you can, thatll save you money for engine mods . Thats what i did and i get mad props on my dual-exhaust ek

id say just take a dremmel and make a small exhaust notch(?) where urs is touching. i did that with my stock bumper, looks pretty good.
