i have an 84 accord and she has over 273k on it. i would like to swap my motor but i dont know what engine i could use/get. of course i would like a VTEC DOHC. which motor would be the best to use to get the max performance? i need help.

 

ok......the answer for the DOHC VTEC is the H22.......

please use the search function....go to search, select accord forum, and search for H22.........theres also a sight specifially for older accords, mayb someone else can help u out on those sights

ur gonna need a WHOLE new fuel delivery system FYI

 

im not sure if you can fit an h22 in that chassis, but i have seen alot of people put b16's in them

 

put a 13b in there........rotary bitches!

good call........i bypassed the fact that the car was an 84......but not the fact that the old engine is carb.......god im retarded

 

i dont under stand. do u hate the fact that the old engine has a carb? that all i need to know.

 

put a ITR engine in there... its like havin a h22a only with less torque and higher revving... wooohaa!!
