Need help with timing belt!!!
I changed my timing belt on a 96 accord V6. I don't know what is wrong but it will not start. I noticed that the belt is not that tight. I tried loosening the tensioner but I don't know how to make it tighter. It started for a second and died.

Were you absolutely certain you lined up the timing marks properly? Your engine could still fire on one cyclinder and turn over the crank even with the timing belt installed wrong. If your timing belt was not installed properly you may have damaged your head. Specifically your pistons and valves.
Have someone "double check" your work. Maybe the initial vibration when your engine started shook an electrical connection loose and stalled your motor. Check and recheck.
Good luck.

I think the belt jumped. The timing is off and I need help turning the cam gear. I have the 1,2,3 pistond correct but I need help with the others.
not sure if ur still working on ur car but i'll give my opinion anyway. To tighten the belt u must set the belt on the tensioner and turn the crank about 25-40 degree until the belt tighten. Then tighten the tensioner bolt.
As for ur car not starting, check timing. check timing before u tighten the tensioner bolt and after.
I have the same model v6 and did timing belt job and ran into the same problem. Just recheck ur timing. Mine didn't start cuz my crank was off by 1 tooth.
