hi, i think i have a fairly simple question.. ive seen people say they have a "f23a1 accord engine" how do i tell what engine i have?

 

its stamped on the block to the left of your heat sheild or header..

or you can tell us what year and level of trim your accord is (unless it has a swap)

those are 6th gen lev 4 cylinder accord engine.
all honda engine/transaxle have a stamp on the block, look for it near the header/exhaust manifold

 

my accord is a 1999 dx 4dr sedan. I'll take a look tomorrow, .... raining atm

 

i think i found my engine from that chart, must be a F23A5. thanks for the help
