Opinions on CompTech coilovers
Anybody have these installed on an LS?? I know this is a pandora's box type of question that's why I limited it the topic to Comptech. I've already searched the board and found lots of opinions regarding different brands but nothing specific to the Comptech.
I'm looking for a good set of coilovers for a car that's daily-driven and autocrossed. Here's what I got from Comptech Support regarding the spring rates:
"We sell the same one Koni offers. The front spring rate is 214/236 and the
rear is 125/142lbs. They are progressive rate. "

those spring rate smay be too wussy for you after a while with them.
but comptech approved is a good thing.
aLmoSt-vtec on this board has comptech springs only, no coilover setup, but he hates the spring rates, they are too soft for his driving style, which is pretty hard driving at times.
he is an avid autocrosser and the car still leans a lot compared to those cars with rates over 400.
on the same note, I got Eibach sportlines last year (WEAK rates too, very similar to those comptech ratesyou mentioned) and cannot wait until I get GC coilovers with 500 f and 400 r springrates... really!
