Default droppin the s2000 ?

One of my buddies just got a nice S2000 and want to lower it, he dont want a full coilover kit since they are illegal for inspection in quebec. Anybody know a good brand that mnufacture coil spring for the S2000 that drops the car like 1'' to 1 1/4 ''. and what kind of shocks are need after ( oem of aftermarket ) thanks

for some good info hit up http://www.s2ki.com

u have a couple of choices for soem springs:
espleir
eibach
kg/mm
or custom ground control adj springs

as for some nice shocks i would suggest koni koni shocks cost about $600...most springs non adj. go for around 200..the ground control adj springs tha come with eibach springs go for around 350 (i think)

on that note hit up http://www.ground-control.com
and ask them questions for a good setup for the s2k...

I have KG/MM DR21 Race springs on stock shocks, I love em'.

Rides perfectly, almost better than stock if you like the firm feel.

coil overs are illegal since they are ajustable in height... they accept drop kits that are non ajustable with anything cutted or chimmed

if you going with springs, make sure you get some quality shocks like koni yellows. the stock shocks will eventually wear out and the ride will be crappy.

I just put Espelier on my car this week end, so far so good the drop is sweet 1.3 all around and it leaves about a finger, finger and half between stock rims and fender. As razor said the stock shocks will wear out eventually

hey, the stance looks great on the kg/mm how much did it lower the car ? I just got Espelir's which lowers around 1.3" ... I so like the look of your lowered stance, wonder if the Espelir will look similar.
