Default Advice on F22 setup (internals)

I am contemplating going to higher compression pistons on my F22B1 motor. Top end work I've had done is: port and polish, port match intake manifold, milled the head .008 (for flatness after blown head gasket), and 3 angle valve job. Only other mods are I/H. I am looking at a piston to put my compression at 11:1(before the mill). I know that's big jump, and I am looking for input on what I should be concerned with. I'm sure some of you F22 NA guys know what these motors can take, so let's hear it! Is detonation going to be a problem? Should I run cooler plugs, or just higher octane gas? Can stock rods handle this compression?

If you want 11:1 off the shelf.... try the raceeng.com custom spec Wiseco's or if you are brave try the Arias...

Custom is the way to go if you have the $$$ though...

Yeah, I was actually looking at the raceeng.com pistons. Can I run the rest of the motor with stock internals (rods, rod bearings.... )? They have their pistons on sale right now for $299. Seems like a good price. So, any red flags on this one? This is my first motor project, so I'm hoping you guys can keep me straight on this.

Thanks,
Brent

So I guess I shouldn't wait for them?

Okay, back to the motor. No one has any additional thoughts on this build?

raceeng.com 11:1 pistons in an f22b1. What do you guys think? Are stock rods gonna cut it? Any other concerns I should be aware of?

I went with the 11:1 Wiseco's, but bought the Crower billet rods to go with them. If your tearing the whole thing apart, it's better to do it right the first time.
